Special Craft Beer Lineup to Commemorate the Opening Weekend of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
A certain SciFi movie is opening in movie theaters around the country this weekend. Our Santa Clara location just happens to be located in the Mercado Shopping Center home to the AMC Mercado 20 movie theater. We also happen to pour the best selection of craft beer Santa Clara, CA has to offer. So we decided to put together a special craft beer lineup to commemorate the opening weekend of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Lucky for us, the fine folks at Modern Times Beer were in the mood to help out with a selection of craft beers from both the Light Side and the Dark Side! If you’re a Star Wars geek, a craft beer geek or both, you do not want to miss this one.
Modern Times Beer is an outstanding craft brewery located in San Diego, California. They brew an amazing selection of craft beers including IPA’s, Double IPA’s and Stout’s. To help us celebrate the opening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Modern Times Beer delivered six kegs of their finest beer from both the light side and the dark side. On the Light Side, we will be pouring City of the Sun a 7.6% IPA, Mega Fortunate Islands an 8.0% Double IPA and Centaur Gardens a 6.6% IPA. On the Dark Side we will be pouring three amazing stouts – Mega Black House with Double Coffee (Kenya Single Origin Coffer), Mega Black House with NOLA Coffee and Mega Black House with Peanut Butter and Cocoa Nibs. If you are a stout fan, it just doesn’t get any better!!
All six kegs will be tapped at noon on Friday, December 16, 2016. Stop by for a pre-movie City of the Sun IPA and again after the show for a Mega Black House with Peanut Butter and Cocoa Nibs. Seriously, how can you pass up a stout brewed with peanut butter and cocoa. That’s like heaven in a glass.
